A Notice from YG, 4/30/09

On April 30, YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun Suk posted a notice on the company website to address rumours and plans regarding G-Dragon and 2ne1. Keep reading for details of Yang’s message regarding G-Dragon’s slump, G-Dragon’s legitimacy as a composer, and 2ne1′s debut plans.

2ne1′s Stylists are G-Dragon’s Friends

It has been revealed that two of G-Dragon’s close friends, Yang Seung Ho and Lee Hyun Jong, are 2ne1′s stylists.

Yang Seung Ho and Lee Hyun Jong are both on temporary leave from their respective schools in London, England. Yang Seung Ho attended the world-famous Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, which counts John Galliano, Alexander McQueen, and M.I.A. among its graduates. He was also featured on reality program Seven Models in 2008 with his friend, model Lee Hyuk Soo. Lee Hyun Jong studied Fine Art and Interior Design at Chelsea College of Art and Design.

A representative of YG Entertainment confirmed that G-Dragon is not only producing 2ne1′s music, but also a hand in their styling. He recently stayed with 2ne1 and their stylists until the early morning while shooting photos for 2ne1′s album jacket cover.

2ne1 is currently preparing for the group’s official debut in May.
