5th Jecheon International Music & Film Festival

The 5th Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF) is taking place from August 13 to 18 in the city of Jecheon, Chungcheongbuk-do. This year’s film festival includes about 90 music-related films of diverse genres from 35 countries.

13th PiFan Film Festival

The Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival (PiFan) kicked off its 13th year on July 16 in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do. The festival will run for 10 days, screening 201 films from 41 countries under the theme of ‘Love, Fantasy, Adventure’.
Celebrities including Ahn Sung Ki, Jang Na Ra, and Ku Hye Sun walked the red carpet.
Ku Hye Sun Puts Tango On Display

Ku Hye Sun is displaying her art work from July 1 to 7 at La Mer Gallery in Insadong. The exhibition is called Tango, which is also the title of her recently published book. She is generously donating the revenue from the exhibition to YG Entertainment’s charity campaign, WITH.
Ku Hye Sun’s Online Exhibition
Following the April 1 release of her novel, Tango (탱고), Ku Hye Sun is holding an online illustration exhibition of key excerpts. In cooperation with online auction hosting company Gmarket, Ku has chosen approximately 20 illustrations (half of what’s in the book) with short written passages to display on the internet.

Tango. We were one pair who were dancing the tango although Jong Woon’s feet and mine weren’t in step. We kept dancing, even if we were stepping on each other’s feet and enduring pain; hence, our feet already had too many scars.
