Lee Seung Hwan’s Star-Studded Charity Concert
Let’s Live A Good Life is an an annual charity concert organized and hosted by veteran singer Lee Seung Hwan. A portion of the proceeds goes to benefit the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation.
2009 was the concert’s tenth anniversary. The event was held at Walkerhill Hotel on Saturday, February 21, beginning at 7 p.m. with MBC announcer Huh Il Hoo on MC duty. The star-studded line-up included a diverse group of musical artists and DJs such as Lee Hyori, Epik High, Wheesung, DJ DOC, Leek Juck, Super Kid, and Lee Chul Min.With each act performing two or three songs, the concert didn’t wind down until Sunday 4 a.m.
Lee Seung Hwan has been a kpop/rock staple since his debut in 1989. His own label, Dream Factory, estimates that he has sold 10 million albums in his lifetime.
