Dong Bang Shin Ki (TVXQ) performed three times this weekend, February 20-22, at Seoul Olympic Park. It has been two years since their previous full-length concert in Korea.

Each performance accommodated around 12,000 concertgoers and featured 26 songs. News reporters have been giving positive reviews, stating that the shows were well-organized, full of energy, and “150 minutes of magic”. The word “brilliant” has been used often.

Pyrotechnics, moving stages, laser beams, wire shows, and super-wide LED jumbo screens contributed to a visuallystimulating two and a half hours. (The three-day concert was said to cost 2.2 billion won – almost $1.5 million USD.) When singing older songs such as “Hug” or “Balloon”, the jumbo screens showed old photos of them. All five members had the opportunity to display their individual talent through their own solo stage. Micky Yoochun, U-know Yunho, and Xiah Junsu performed songs that they had written, while Max Changmin sang “Upon This Rock” and Hero Jaejoong sang “Only That is My World”. There was a dance-off between Yunho and Junsu.

After completing their schedule in Korea, DBSK will go to Japan to release their 26th single titled “Survivor”. DBSK will then continue their “3rd ASIA TOUR CONCERT – MIROTIC” in China, Hong Kong, and Thailand.
